Reviews and Ratings
The De Vere Orchard Hotel is an appealing place with lovely rooms and a stunning environment on the University of Nottingham campus. However, dining services can be hit or miss, especially during busy periods, which detracted from my overall experience. The staff is generally helpful, but there were some hiccups with service that shouldn't happen in a hotel of this caliber.
Our stay at the hotel was a mix of good and bad. While the property itself is beautifully set within Nottingham University's grounds and the breakfast variety was delightful, our experience was marred by room issues and disturbances at night. Price-wise, it felt quite steep for the overall experience we had.
The hotel is conveniently located near the conference center and university, making it an ideal choice for attending events, but there were issues with the breakfast service and room amenities. While the rooms are spacious and clean, the dining experience fell short of expectations, especially during busy times. Overall, it offers decent value for money, especially for business travelers.
I had mixed feelings about my stay. The rooms were clean and reasonably well-appointed, but the noise from the heavy rain made it hard to sleep at all. The breakfast the next day was a highlight with great variety, but some dining options close early. Overall, there were some positive aspects, but the lack of sleep was a significant downside for me.
I had a great stay overall with spacious and clean rooms, plus a fantastic breakfast selection. However, the dining experience at dinner was a letdown due to slow service and limited menu choices. The access to the gym and conference facilities was a nice bonus, and I found the value for money particularly good considering the amenities provided.
